I'm Susan, welcome to my little world, Susan's Style Diary, where you’ll see bits and pieces of my outfits, my fun travels, my favorite products, my beauty tips & tricks, parts of my home, sneak peeks of collabs, launches + more! Susan's Style Diary is my happy place where I get to share parts of my life with you and connect with you! My goal here is to connect with you on a friendship level because here we should be close friends. Let's vibe, connect and inspire.
I launched my first blog in 2016 while attending high school. I was working with small businesses promoting products for them, creating and publishing my own E-books, and working on my own Instagram platform as my own image.
At the time, I was also looking for universities since I was about to graduate HS. Once I graduated and began my first semester at my university I remember starting to feel overwhelmed. I wasn't sure what I wanted to study and major in. I kept changing my major from speech therapy, communications, etc. It was really giving me major anxiety. I felt hopeless as if I can't be as creative in life as I want to be. I sat there and stared at my blog, and there it hit me. Go for my passion, do something I already have a passion for and that I can take with me in the future. And that passion of mine is creating content, social media, and managing brands.
So, I went in to change my major for the final time to PUBLIC RELATIONS and a minor in COMMUNICATIONS. It felt good, I felt like I had it together. I was set. Having my blog as a creative outlet and space helped me a lot. It gave me a sense of peace and hope. It was my way of staying inspired and growing creatively.
Now, 6+ years later and over 10k+ followers later, I'm so humbled to say that blogging changed my life forever. My journey had lots of changes whether it's starting over with a new blog, graduating college, getting married, becoming a mom, working as a social media manager, running my own online crystal shop biz, etc.
This blog will forever hold a special place in my heart! Since day one, I've always stayed true to myself and do things I genuinely love and believe in, but most importantly, I always follow my heart no matter what.
If there’s one thing I’d love for you to take away from visiting my blog is that YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! Believe in yourself and never give up dreaming even if it feels unreachable, trust the process and be patient and you'll see results!
